Not So Easy Jet

Today, the students were delighted to fly Easy Jet airlines!  The 5am departure from the hostel in Nice, the Villa Saint Exupery, set the tone for the wonderful and comfortable flight to the major wine country of France, Bordeaux!

The surprisingly spaciousness cabin featured two bathrooms, triple row seating, and bright orange headrest covers!  Students had a vast selections of food and drink items ranging from pop, water, and porridge.  Unfortunately, these items were overlooked as a combination sickness, jet-lag, and hangovers plagued the group.

On a lighter note, the flight did present a beautiful view of Nice when we first took off.  The lovely photographer Katie Lynch was able to snag a moderately clear shot of the city from her window seat.  Thankfully the flight only lasted but an hour and ten minutes, seeming only to be five for the few that were able to get some shut eye.  Although we are happy to have arrived in Bordeaux safely, I will be grateful if I never have to fly Easy Jet again.
