La journee dans Saint Emilion

Saint Emilion!!!!
Today we had a wonderful trip to Saint Emilion France. It was a day full of excitement for me anyway. Our plan was for this day to travel to Saint Emilion and visit Chateaux Soutard. It's a winery/vineyard sort of southeast of Bordeaux. The ride there was that bad being that we had taken a bus first and than a train. When we arrived, however, the site was amazing.

Clock Tower in Saint Emilion
At first glance of being there it seemed as if there was almost nothing to do. From the train station we took a 20-30 minute almost hike up the hill in to the town of Saint Emilion. This town was very nice. It reminded me of being in Nice with its old century feel. It was a very nice town. For a nice as it looked though, I swear it seemed as if it were a ghost town. We were looking for a place to eat in the town and could barely find a nice cheap place to eat before our wine tasting.
So while looking for a place to eat in this medieval looking town, we seen some pretty good sights. The town had this beautiful clock tower (left) that when we had the time, me and a few of the others walked up. Katie Lynch was with us and best believe she was terrified because she doesn't like heights to well. All in all we had a very good time there, the winery pictured below was pretty amazing and the wine that we tasted, just say that I brought 2 bottles, one of which was one of the last wines that we tasted.

To speak more about this beautiful sight, it will be the host of my wedding in the future. I plan on coming in and getting married here at this winery and fun times will be had by all. All friends and family members are invited....after I get a bride of course and money and maybe a little bit of patient to put up with a wedding. Other than all of this my wedding is still going to be held here no matter what, and then my honeymoon in Nice. And hopefully when I retire at the young age of 25 (smart investments pending) it will be in Saint Emilion, I will try to purchase my own vineyard and hire people to work it. Thats my goal and plan and I'm sticking to it. Now back to reality....This area was amazing. I enjoyed my time at Saint Emilion and it is definitely a recommended spot for visiting, and if you do decided to visit, call me or else :D!

P.S. Voici mon chat!
