Tasting the Buds!

So of course theres going to be something already about this subject, but today we tested the taste buds. This was real good way for people to get to know one another. In fact, we got to experience whats it like to be a dentist I'd say. So this whole thing was about being able to see whom of us are super tasters. It was very funny seeing people having to stick their turns out as their partner probably a person they no nothing about, stick things on their tongues. This made for a very personable experience between everyone. Although seemingly weird, it was still quite fun.

Learning about what taste people can actually sense is an interesting piece of information. We learned that some people can not taste bitter foods, or sweet foods. I believe the most interesting part of this was learning about the different areas of our tongues in which we could sense a certain taste. I learned that in at least 2 areas I couldn't taste hardly anything. This could be because of my smell to. All in all, however, this exercise was pretty fun and educational.
