Paris was really the most special city for
me out of the three places we went to while in France. Artistically Paris was
unlike anything I have ever seen before. First off let’s talk about the
fashion, never in my life have I seen so many stylish men and women, no matter
where I went everyone always looked so well put together. It really went for an
awkward time going anywhere fancy having only my Nikes to wear, oh well. Most
of the men and women are slender which just adds to their physical appearance.
Dark colors are definitely the go-to in Parisian fashion as well as
dark red lips and fur vests; in an idyllic world we could all look this good
without looking weird. Aside from the physically beauty these folks have to
offer, the buildings and streets themselves look like a paintings, every street
has these old fashioned lamppost and the buildings have long glass windows
protected by black wrought iron fences. It all looks so romantic and charming
it just makes you want to fall in love, which I did, with our cooking instructor
Eric (were all still debating on whose he actually is). Which leads me lastly
to food, and may I say that French food gets an A+ in my book, especially the pastries.
Pain au chocolat was almost a daily routine for Kristin and I, embarrassingly enough
it only took a few days for the employees at “Paul” to get to know us. Though I
did miss a few cult classic from back home, I really wouldn't mind eating or living
here for the rest of my life. Anyways as Eric waits for me and our 12 or some
odd year age difference, I shall blog about this magical experience and never forget
how special this trip has been for me.
